My format is just that... myself having a conversation with... well.. myself most of the time... lol... I plan to just let this be an outlet for the thoughts that fill my days (and nights) as well as a peek into the life of a 29-year-old first time stay at home mommy!
My son is Jackson and he is about to be 6 months old! He was born on November 15, 2012... But I guess you can say my life changed forever on April 9, 2012 when I found out I was pregnant..
Jackson was not planned... Yet not prevented either... We decided, if it was meant to be, it will be.. And after four years together my boyfriend Kenny and I created Jax! And life changed forever! I didnt know it back last April but life would mean so many different things to me than I could ever explain.. But most of all, I credit Jackson with saving the life of a very confused, insecure and lost 28 year old girl...
No idea what to do next, where I was going, careless and limitless I never felt as though I could ever search a real purpose in life.. Call it depression, call it confusion, I dont know what to call it besides years of regret catching up to me...
The moment I gave birth to my baby boy... My place in this world.. in this UNIVERSE was made clear.. I am Jacksons mommy. I have the most important job that could ever exist and with that I finally understand the meaning of the world validation..
Needless to say, motherhood is my greatest joy in life! Without going into too much detail about who I "was" (i'm sure that will come with time within this blog) I can say I was a party girl who needed a change... But I prefer this blog be focused more on the woman I am today... Jackson's mommy... And this blog is to document his life and our misadventures together on this journey called parenthood!
